Product Technical Specification

1. Product Description

This product series is a thermosetting powder coating formulated with epoxy resin and acrylic resin as the main components, supplemented by necessary pigments, fillers and additives. Manufactured through melt extrusion and grinding processes, it exhibits excellent physical properties, chemical resistance and decorative performance.
The series can be customized to meet specific requirements, including different curing temperatures (140℃~200℃), textures (smooth, sand, hammer tone) and gloss levels (10%~90%). Compared with ordinary hybrid powder coatings, it offers superior weather resistance and exceptional hardness, reaching up to 4H (pencil hardness grade).

2. Storage Conditions

Store in an environment with temperature below 30℃ and relative humidity below 60%. The shelf life is 6 months. Beyond this period, the product must pass re-inspection before use.

3. Powder Curing Requirements

  • 180℃ for 15 minutes (workpiece temperature)
  • 200℃ for 10 minutes (workpiece temperature)
  • For matte products, extend the curing time by 5 minutes. Please refer to the product's test report for details.
Note: This product may cause significant interference to other flat-surface products during application.

Spray Film Thickness

  • Standard products: 60~80μm
  • Textured products: Film thickness varies by texture size. Exceeding the recommended thickness may cause pinholes or texture irregularities.
Important Notice: Relevant test results are obtained under the premise of substrates, operating processes and parameters that meet corresponding standard requirements (or specific conditions). Actual performance may differ under the customer's on-site substrates, processes and parameters. Additionally, all tests are conducted under laboratory conditions and are for reference only.

4. Operation Process & Parameters

Substrate Type Surface Treatment
Ordinary Steel Zinc phosphate treatment
Galvanized Steel Sheet Iron phosphate treatment
Aluminum Material Chromating treatment

Pre-treatment Requirements:

  1. Thoroughly clean the substrate to remove grease before the above treatments, then dry it. The drying temperature shall not exceed 200℃ to avoid damaging the pre-treatment film, which may result in the final powder coating failing to meet performance requirements.
  2. For castings (especially castings) and hot-dip galvanized workpieces: High-temperature treatment must be performed to remove internal moisture and gases before spraying to prevent bubble formation. Please notify us in advance for necessary formula adjustments.
Additional Note: Customers shall conduct regular quality inspections of the operating processes and parameters in accordance with their suppliers' requirements.
